AUGUST ELOPEMENT at mount rainier national park

Picture this – you bring all your family ( and your two best gals pals ) to a Mount Rainier National Park, the National Park you’ve *always* dreamed of visiting together. All your loved ones spend a few days staying in two cabins right next to each other making memories to last a lifetime!! You both watch the sunrise peek through the pines together, just as you watch the sun set on your day, living it all to the very fullest. What better way to start the rest of your lives together?

So many incredible moments from this day – I loved that Bailey and Denton opted to do an adventure session the morning of their wedding. After a few days being covered in smoke from forest fires, Mount Rainier was shining through and looming over the forest and valleys ever so prominently.

The lace on Bailey’s dress, the way they looked at each other and marveled at it all, how the light poured through the trees, the wildlife they saw ( including a bear !! ) , her sweet friend Kianna venturing with us and holding her bouquet , the smell of the pines, the magic of it all. On our way back, they reminisced on all their hiking and backpacking trips in other National Parks, and how Mount Rainier had been on their bucket list for quite some time.

Evening came, and family gathered for the ceremony at the trailhead of the Nisqually Vista Overlook. After some family portraits, everyone walked together to the ceremony site as the soft sun peeked through the trees.

Bailey walked through the pines with her dad down the aisle to Denton wearing the biggest smile. The ceremony was officiated so beautifully by her brother, Reece. After the ceremony, the joy was unmatched with many hugs and happy tears.

One last adventure of the day, Bailey and Denton soaked up the last bit of sunlight overlooking the Nisqually River. Then met back at the cabin to continue celebrating with all their loved ones.

They chose the Valleys Elopement Package, and we were able to do an adventure in the morning, and their ceremony in the evening. I'm so glad we did this - because the smoke from the summer wildfires moved in for the evening, and Mt Rainier was much more visible in the morning! Even with the smokey haze, the evening ceremony and celebration was absolutely breathtaking.

And from sunrise to sunset, it was all pure magic. So incredibly grateful to have witnessed it all!!

Kind words from Bailey + Denton :

"Jaclyn did an absolutely AMAZING job! I could not have asked for a better experience with an even sweeter photographer!

My husband and I are both not huge picture people and slightly awkward in front of a camera, but she made it all SO easy and comfortable! She had so many ideas for photos and had us do things/talk about things while she was shooting. Through her techniques, she was truly able to capture the love and happiness of our wedding day in such an effortless and genuine way that we didn't think was possible!

Looking at our wedding album, we are easily taken back to that special day with our friends and family and can feel all the emotions in those moments because of Jaclyn.

Jaclyn was a true blessing and we could not be more grateful for her! Definitely book her for all of your photography needs!"

"We were her first wedding in the PNW, but you would have NEVER known that through her confidence, professionalism, and quality of our photos! Jaclyn was so flexible and understanding which made our special day stress free!"
